Well, Look Who’s Back!

Hello blogosphere! It has been quite a while hasn’t it? I felt as we have finally turned the calendar to 2021 it was time to dust off the old keyboard. I mean, after the 10 months of our two weeks of sheltering in place to curb the spread I have more than enough stir crazy thoughts to formulate some gibberish here. I’ve washed my hands, sanitized, and have a mask ready to go. Let’s do this!

After all this time under house arrest working from home most of this past year I feel we have been hammered enough with reading articles about the pandemic. My brain is Covid numb. Like a bad brain freeze when you eat ice cream too fast. That’s lasted for over 10 excruciating months. I’m also not going to get into pontificating about the current state of politics in the country as I think we have all been hammered into submission with that subject. Bigly.

Time to have some fun again with this blog. Chat about various subjects and happenings which we can relate to, enjoy a few laughs, eat tacos, and down some tasty libations. Even though 2020 freaking sucked monkey dong there were some good things here and there that came out of it. So I figure that there must be more than enough for me to charge up the old brain noggin and tap out a few barely readable articles now and then.

I hope you feel the same and come along with me again on this absurd magic carpet ride. Here’s hoping for a much better year ahead. We can only hope and pray. Keep the faith, and we’ll come out of this all the better on the other side. As for now, let’s get this party started. Don’t worry, I have more than enough toilet paper hoarded away for all of us!

  1. Welcome back, Phil! It appears you made it through these months without contracting Covid, but don’t let your guard down just yet. Next step is waiting for that dang vaccine and even then, I think masks will stick around for most of the year.

I know! I’m tired of this too! Thankfully, I was able to retire in September, so kicking back at home has been easy. The days actually go by faster than when I was working, even though I don’t go anywhere.

    Have a great weekend!

  2. So excited to start reading your blog regularly. We all need a bit more fun in our lives nowadays.
