Hey, guess what? I’ve been nominated for a new award. I have no clue why, other than the fact that someone out there must be obsessed with my incoherent scribble that I write about. Maybe I have a stalker or two. Should I be flattered or scared? Either way, I am flattered and it is an honor to be recognized and nominated for the Liebster Award. From what I gather this award is given to those newer and creative blogs out there, the “up and comers”, that have been discovered along the way by fellow bloggers. Crazy right?
Now here are the pesky rules one must adhere to when accepting the Liebster:
1. Thank the person who nominated you.
2. Post eleven random facts about yourself.
3. You answer the eleven questions asked by the person who nominated you.
4. You think of a new set of eleven questions and nominate eleven others to answer them.
Damn, this is a lot of work!

Overall, I am a pretty patient and tolerant guy. I can put up with a lot, and often let things slide. It helps keep the stress levels low, and the blood pressure in a safe zone. There are times though that I am seconds away from becoming a flight risk! I like people. I really do. Yet at times they really test my patience. Sometimes I think the gene pool has not been too kind to some of these lunkheads. I run into these people in all walks of life – in the gym, at the store, at work, out on the street, you name it! They are everywhere, and I am sure many of us have experienced these “special people” first hand. Here’s a quick sampling I decided to embellish on as I ran into a few already today!
– What is up with people who get to the register then take 15 minutes to dig through their pockets or purse to try and find a way of paying?

Yup, it’s a new year and I need to get a few things off my chest. In my daily travels around NYC there are some things I observe on a daily basis that just rub me the wrong way. Even though it’s the first week of 2013 with the air of new beginnings some things just never change. Experiencing a few of these first hand this week made me ponder a bit. It all adds to my list of Rantings & Ravings.
Here’s a few things that literally make me want to smack people upside the head.
With a brick.
Guys who cross their legs like a girl when seated.
People who don’t clean up their dog poop on the sidewalks.
Anyone who wears crocs.
People who won’t ask for help in a gym but get in everyone’s way doing everything wrong.

You ever have one of those days when you just seem invisible to all of the human race? Well, maybe not all of them, but to the people that inhabit your town or city. Some days you just want to go into a rage and scream “HEY! I’M HERE!!!!”
For the most part I think people are mainly considerate and respectful in their lives and to those around them. As bad a rep New Yorkers get for being gruff and unmannered I usually encounter just the opposite as most have consideration. Yet, there are days like today that makes me want to go all “Hulk Smash” on some specific individuals.
