My boss at work suggested we hit up a food truck for lunch. Close by where I work in the Financial District the trucks are lined up fast and furious jockeying for position to lure in the hungryhangry lunch crowd. We were eyeing a few, and Luckyim Thai was right in front of us.
This was such a memorable meal that I had to give it some love here on the blog. So much beer. As soon as I walked into Draught 55 in NYC I knew this joint lives up to its name. The beer list itself takes up two pages. I might have to revisit this place over and over to try them all!
I recently dropped in here with a friend to catch up on things. Epic beer list! $5 happy hour with a select list of brews, cocktails, wine until 8pm daily. I do wish they offered a more robust selection for the beers during HH, as only having a few available considering the monster beer list was kind of a big tease. Then as the skies opened, and the rain subsided, the Lord said “let there be light”!
Such was the weather recently when I was nearing the end of a rainy 5 mile run in Central Park. As I finished my run on the east side of the park and headed for cover I jogged over to Bluestone Lane, which is housed in a church off East 90th and Central Park on the Upper East Side of NYC.
