Moist Balls! I don’t think anybody saw that coming!

Well, the past few months have been quite a change for me. I don’t think many people saw that coming. Not even myself!

Who the heck would have thought that I would make a major life change such as abstaining from red meats, chicken, pork, and most booze. All the things that give me the warm fuzzies. Well, as for the booze let’s just say I cut back significantly, but ain’t no way I’m giving up a tasty cold brew now and then. Especially with warm swampass weather already hitting NYC.

Oh yeah, what the heck is Mother Nature doing? Not only do we get her bi-polar ass messing with the whole Winter, then screwing up our Spring when it seemed like the ice age was making a comeback, but now she is subjecting us to premature SWAMPASS heat! Sorry, but it’s not supposed to be close to 90 degrees in May! Well, there goes my electric bill. The air conditioning in our apartment has been working overtime already. I like to sleep in comfortable sub-arctic conditions. If I can see my breath in the air while laying in bed I’m a happy boy! Just throw on a comforter and a blanket and wrap yourself in. Boom. Like one giant pink naked “pig in a blanket”. (Damn, I miss eating those.)

No one wants to have moist balls. MOIST BALLS. Yes, MOIST. Yeah, I said it. That WORD. (I know how so many people hate that word.) Good, now you all have the image of my balls being moist in your mind. You’re welcome. Moist. Continue reading Moist Balls! I don’t think anybody saw that coming!

Give a suit. Change a life. Lend a hand. Men’s Wearhouse 2014 National Suit Drive.

“True Blood” star, Joe Manganiello spotted entering Madison Avenue’s Men’s Wearhouse in NYC to donate a suit for the 7th annual National Suit Drive on June 25, 2014.

I’m all for helping out and supporting a good cause, and with our uncertain economy and employment hardships across the board it is always nice to see certain companies rise to the occasion with a helping hand. This July, Men’s Wearhouse is launching its seventh annual National Suit Drive and encouraging consumers to donate their gently-used professional attire to help individuals who are trying to enter or re-enter the workforce.

The 2014 National Suit Drive aims to collect 150,000 pieces of professional attire (men’s and women’s suits, shirts, jackets, ties, pants, belts and shoes) to distribute to over 180 partner nonprofits that prepare men and women to enter the workplace through job readiness programs and workforce assistance. In return, Men’s Wearhouse will provide a coupon for 50% off a future purchase to each participating donor. Pretty nice deal if you ask me!

While those reading this may have their own suit or their significant others’ suits they can donate, you can also help the cause without donating from your own closets. Men’s Wearhouse will make a monetary donation of $1 (up to $20,000) to their National Suit Drive cause for every new Twitter and Instagram follower and each time the hashtag #giveasuit is used.

Massive Gastronomica, Clothes Shopping, and Spanx in NYC!

where-did-you-get-your-clothes-from-the-toilet-store

One of the things that most men dread, and some women too, its shopping for clothes. It’s a necessary evil, and one that I do not like at all anymore. I actually did not mind hitting the shops to pick up some gear for my bod back in the past. I was a bit of a clothes whore. That was when things actually fit me the right way. Before my body changed a bit. Before I moved into NYC and caught the foodie bug and became a gluttonous beast. I mean, let’s get real here, one of the reasons so many of us live in a cosmopolitan fantasyland like the city I reside in is that fact that there is pretty much every fattening and delicious food on the planet here. Amazing restaurants. Ethnic diversity of meals. Food stands on almost every corner. Food trucks parked on the streets. Temptation is everywhere. Everything freaking delivers! Massive Gastronomica! Pajama Bottoms in public? Why NYC? Why?

pajamas

Why oh why do I see more and more people wearing pajama bottoms out in public nowadays? It just seems weird to me that people actually think this is an acceptable look. I just think they look like crazy people. Like “People of Walmart” crazy people. Now, I can understand if it’s the middle of the night and your dog has to take a crap, but seriously, don’t you have a pair of jeans or athletic pants lying around to throw on when heading out to the supermarket, local bodega, or resto to pick something up? This is becoming an epidemic as bad as the idiots I see wearing their pants halfway down their legs showing off their underwear. Is there an island or someplace we can ship these people off too? Oh wait, Manhattan is an island. I guess we are stuck with them and their dress code of stupidity. Continue reading Pajama Bottoms in public? Why NYC? Why?
