Holy crap what is going on with this weather in NYC? I’m gonna freeze my nuts off tomorrow running outside in the Cupid’s Undie Run! It’s for a great cause so kids with Neurofibromatosis (NF), also known as children’s tumors, can grow up happy and healthy. Worth a bit of shrinkage and hard perky nipples wouldn’t you agree?
Yeah, I’m basically gonna be freezing my man-buns off as I strip down to my underpants to be a part of the Cupid’s Undie Run in the cold on February 13th in NYC along with many others contributing to this children’s cause. So here I am getting talked into doing this after running Warrior Dashes and Tough Mudders. In my undies. In the dead of Winter. At least there will be no obstacles this time. Just some extremely cold air that has invaded the NYC area which would make a polar bear pack up and move to Florida. I think I can handle that. Just have to get through a 1.5 mile run and hit the bar with all my fellow runners and teammates afterwards. Hot toddies please! (I might pour one down my underwear after this run!)
This is the last chance to donate to such a worthwhile cause, and it’s for the kids! Any amount is so appreciated. Link to my charity page –

Hey, what about shrinkage? Has anyone thought about that? I better stuff a few extra socks in there. To keep my junk warm of course. Not that I really need it. 🙂
That is, of course, me making a fool of myself again for a good cause. Miles of running broken up by jumping, climbing, crawling, and hanging over and through a dozen or so obstacles created by a bunch of evil madmen.
Seems like I just can’t give up doing stupid stuff to my body and putting it through some sort of hellish physical ordeal each year now. After my experiences these past few years completing a Warrior Dash and a Tough Mudder you would think I’m pretty well versed with obstacle course and mud runs by now. I thought I was. Here I am entered to participate in an Urban Mudder happening right here in NYC on July 25th and I still feel all anxious and nervous a bit! I have been hitting the gym and getting my running game in gear these past few months. Funny thing is I normally hated running, but after going out to jog 5K’s multiple times a week I think I am actually starting to enjoy it after all these years. Shudder the thought, right? So, how did this actually happen? I’m far from being a writer, and would not even attempt to place that label on myself. At times I find it hard to put together proper sentence structure. Heck, I can barely speak English. More like a babbling idiot that somehow scribbles his thoughts onto paper. There is no possible way that this barely brain functioning individual could have written 300 posts already. Yup, 300 blog posts. I don’t even believe it. Maybe it’s a testament to my dogged persistence which thinks I can actually write. What’s even more amazing is that there are people out there who really read my sometimes indecipherable ramblings. Boy, are you all gluttons for punishment! You could be reading a novel by a professional writer, or a well known news website, or even a newspaper. Why would you read my blog when Judge Judy is on, or the bat shit crazy “Housewives of Whatever City” can be your guilty pleasure? Now, don’t get me wrong as I’m very appreciative to anyone who follows this blog and my weekly demented meanderings. I just hope that one day you all don’t see through my charade!
