As most of you reading this blog know beer is one of my favorite liquids to consume! I’ve always had a taste for the suds, and a well made craft brew is high on my list of libations. I’ve been kind of thirsty lately and with the NYC Craft Beer Festival Autumn Harvest coming up this weekend it is the perfect cure to quench my thirst. With an abundance of breweries on hand showcasing some of their best varieties there will be something for everyone’s palate to try. I can’t wait to get in there this weekend and hit the ground running. Mmmm…..beer. There are still tickets available but they are going fast. With this being Halloween weekend the spirits will be out in force enjoying a good time. Beer!

GRAND TASTING:
From the established craft brewers to the mid-majors and up-and comers, the diversity and creativity of the Craft Brewing Community has proven to be limitless. For our Grand Tasting, we will be featuring an extensive variety of these artisanally produced creations from America’s Top Breweries.
Nearly 75 participating breweries from across the country are each expected to showcase 2 of their finest offerings (about 150 beers total) with a strong emphasis on their Limited Release and Seasonal selections. All this will take place at the Lexington Avenue Armory, 68 Lexington Ave, between 25-26th Street in Manhattan.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
In the tradition of the Grand Tasting, each attendee will be given a tasting glass and have the opportunity to try unlimited 2 oz tastings of approximately 150 craft beers from all over the world. Friday Night, Halloween, Costumes are Optional. Food will be available for purchase for all attendees and there will be a selection of retail vendors on-site. VIP attendees will have the first hour to themselves to sample these great brews.
We are also very proud to be offering once again expert Craft Concierges centrally located on the main floor to address any brew centric question you could have in addition to the stellar seminars open free for all attendees (first-come first-served) that highlight key aspects of the craft beer industry including pairings, business, and more!
We still have limited tickets for Friday & Saturday evening sessions of the Autumn Harvest tasting, but they are going FAST. The Saturday Afternoon GA tickets are totally gone. 150 craft beers, ciders and mead. Unlimited 2 oz. tasting pours. Enjoy your new favorites with us and surprise your family with something new at the Thanksgiving table. They’ll love you even more.
As Benjamin Franklin proclaimed – “Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy”. So true. Well said Ben. I’ll be raising many 2 oz. tasting glasses full of brew in your honor!

From that one photo of you holding the beers, I can tell you’ve got a drinking problem…TWO hands and only ONE mouth!
Hey Fearless!
I should also learn how to drink with my feet! Quadruple fisting!
Looks like a promising event Phil! Any ‘Pumpkin Spice Beers’ brewing?! Have a great time and I look forward to hearing about it! Happy Halloween.
Hey Peggy!
I’m sure there might be a few pumpkin beers on hand. It will be a great beer event for sure, as they usually are.
Of course, I will try to sample every beer in sight! It’s my duty!
Now that’s an Oktoberfest sized mug. I shall say no more… what happens in Munich stays in Munich 😉
Hey Jeri!
What happens in my local NYC German joint usually gets me in trouble too! PROSIT! 🙂
That sounds like a much better idea for Halloween night than having to take my sons and their friends trick or treating 🙂 Everything is better with beer! Sounds like a fun event.
Hey Foodie!
Oh yes! Craft beer samples at each booth is almost like trick or treating for candy. Adult style!
I the words of Homer Simpson, “Mmmmmmmmm…Beeeeeerrrrrr…”
Hey Mary!
He is my idol and mentor. Duh oh!
Sounds like an awesome way to spend Halloween night! Have fun! Cheers!
Hey Rachel!
Much better than the overpriced and lame parties at all the clubs and bars! What most scares me is that I might not be able to sample all the beers!
Love that last photo, Phil! Yay, beer! I’m passing this on to my son the brewmaster!
Hey Patricia!
Yeah, that was a fun night of double fisting! I’m sure my hands will be full of beer this weekend!
Now that’s trick-or-treating adult style!
Hey Karen!
I will be getting a treat at every beer vendor there!
Also, thank goodness this is real beer! If someone was handing out Bud Light that would be like the perosn who gives out circus peanuts or candy corn on Halloween!
