Some of the best falafel I have had in NYC!
This was such a memorable meal that I had to give it some love here on the blog. It’s been months since we visited this little slice of deliciousness after a 5K running event in Prospect Park on a sweltering humid night in Brooklyn. We discovered this eatery because we just wanted somewhere to eat dinner in some cool AC!
Walking around we found Kulushkat which means “shut up and eat“. Being that this small joint offered up some delicious Middle Eastern food we did just that! All you heard coming from our table were the moaning sounds of food ecstasy emanating from our mouths.
Tasty food and friendly service. Large portions. Prices that won’t break the bank. Vegan options of course. It’s a tiny spot with a few tables. Clean and neat. The kind of locals spot you want to support.
The falafel here is just perfect! The falafel platter for $10.95 is so good! Your choice of one falafel flavor, Israeli salad, red cabbage salad, rice, hummus, tahini and warm fluffy pita. You can’t go wrong with this choice. So. Much. Food. Oh, I’m still in lust with that warm pita.
THAT FALAFEL THO!
This is authentic cuisine made with love and caring. The food tastes just as good as it looks in pictures. Sometimes, that is not the case, but here food justice was served up with some awesome falafel!
I’ll surely run back here the next time I’m in the area!
