I do have a problem. I have to admit it, but I am constantly in denial. Yes, no, yes, no. Maybe I need an intervention. I’ll still deny it. Then go out and do it again.
Yes, I am a peanut addict.
No, you don’t understand. I AM OBSESSED WITH PEANUTS. I can eat them all day long. I have sat on the couch with a spoon and jar of peanut butter and finished it while watching TV – many times. If there is a bowl of peanuts on the bar I will glom it all. I have left work to go find jars of peanuts to bring back to my desk. I have no shame! I have relatives giving me jumbo bags of roasted peanuts in the shell for Christmas, holidays, events, and my birthday. Supermarkets fear me. Yes, there are enablers all around me.

Peanut Butter & Co is one of my enablers. They are the crack to my pipe. I honestly can’t come here too often for fear of an overdose. The times I have been to this quaint little homage to all things peanut butter I usually settle for one of two items on the menu. The Elvis – a wonderful peanut butter sandwich concoction stuffed with bananas and honey – and of course add in extra crispy bacon. Gooey peanut butter goodness with bacon? Lawdy lord! Oh yes, I happily consume thousands of calories eating this!
The other I can’t resist? The Fluffernutter sandwich. Really. This brings me back to those days when I ate these as a kid. It’s a sugary overload of peanut butter and Marshmallow Fluff. I don’t care if it’s a diabetic shock in waiting – if it’s put in front of me it has no chance of survival.
The menu at this bistro of peanut butter has a pretty diverse selection of sandwiches, desserts, a PB&J sandwich of the week, non-peanut butter offerings, ice cream sodas, shakes, milk and drinks. Prices are reasonable and not too costly. Want to be a kid again? Get a Krazy Straw to suck down your drink with! You can also purchase their own line of peanut butter flavors by the jar here. If you are a peanut whore as I am then this is a must visit to try out a sandwich, or two, or five. They do it right!
Also, be a boss and eat the crusts. No one likes a wuss.

Oh my god — I’ve been dying to got PB&Co for years now! I’m a complete PB addict, and their whole menu sounds amazing. Thanks for the recs!
Hi Maggie!
Go check it out. It’s a fun little place, and good for a quick comfort food craving fix! If you love PB get a sandwich there. Thanks for reading and commenting. Your food reviews rock!
I am a BIG fan of PB & Co. Yummy stuff. All I need is a spoon. 🙂
Hey Coleen!
Give me a spoon and a jar of it and it’s all over! Such good stuff, right? 🙂
That chocolate peanut butter looked BOMB. I didn’t even know such things existed!
Jules of Canines & Couture
Hey Jules!
They have so many sandwich combos and peanut butter types here it is orgasmic! 🙂
Fluffernutter is one of my comfort foods! More we have in common.
Hey Karen!
Fluffernutter sandwiches on a rainy day with fritos on the side while sitting on the couch. Oh Yeah!
I do the same thing with peanut butter! I buy a 6 pound container of it every time we grocery shop!
You got the peanut butter story, I got the Duct Tape story! LMAO!
Hey Fearless!
Peanut butter and duct tape go together. It was meant to be. Bacon also fits.
This is my favorite peanut butter! It’s so hard to find the crunchy one though… sad…
Hey Emily!
So you have experienced the crave! I love the crunchy type the best!
Must. Go. There. Peanut butter, honey and banana is still my go-to favourite! Fortunately there are no peanut allergies in our family!
Hey Patricia!
If ever in the city it’s worth a quick stop for a peanut butter, honey and banana sandwich! No peanut allergies here either!
This may be as gross to you as the mention of “Turkey Bacon” but I’ve grown to love powdered peanut butter. Wait here me out. It’s 85 % less calories and it tastes great. Don’t I sound like a commercial? I haven’t used in the “peanut butter” sense but I use it in a smoothie and it ends up tasting like a peanut butter milkshake so I get my peanut butter fix like that. You can mix it into peanut butter but that does sound gross. If I could eat it and not have to pay for it in pounds I would eat a peanut butter and banana sandwich for breakfast, and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch, and peanut butter and honey on toast for snack. YUM!
Hey Kenya!
Powdered peanut butter? I can see it in shake or smoothie. I’ll check it out.
Peanut butter and banana sandwich – YUM!
Phil you nut you. This place looks great, peanuts, nuts, peanut butter, gotta love it all, just not a whole jar or bag at once, now ya got me nuts to go snack on some now.
Hey Peggy!
I can eat peanuts morning, noon, and night! They sell their PB in stores now too.
Yes! I will have one of each.
I have probably consumed close to a hundred or more PB&J sandwiches as a kid. As an adult, I get severe cravings for a good PB&J from time to time. This post made me realize how versatile this classic sandwich can be! I need to experiment!
Hey Jessica!
PBJ and PB & Fluff – so many when I was a kid too. I can eat peanut butter on anything!
I have the same peanut butter problem too 🙂 I have eaten many jars on my couch with a spoon! And that is one of my favorite brands, the dark chocolate is awesome!
Hey Ann!
Peanut obsession knows no bounds! I get yelled at when I sit down on the couch with a jar and spoon. Peanut butter will be gone!
I never knew there were different flavors in peanut butter. That is so cool. Well peanuts are good for you, so don’t feel guilty. 🙂
Hey Susana!
They have all types here, and now sold at supermarkets too. I think that all the time about the healthy aspect while chowing down on a five pound bag of them!
A.may.zing. I, too, will happily eat peanut butter with a spoon.
Hey Jill!
I am having that right now as I’m responding to my comments!
I LOVE THE “DARK CHOCOLATE DREAMS” They sell it here in Iowa, but it is like $5. Good stuff
Hey Matt!
Good to hear you have it in Iowa! Hey, for $5 it’s worth it. Stock up!
You’re preaching to the choir! I am the peanut gal. Specifically, I am the peanut butter gal. You have no idea. I had to go through a period where it couldn’t be in my house because I was going through the large jars in a week by myself. Call Dr. Drew, because I’m hooked on the stuff.
Hey Holly!
It’s like an addiction. Especially if it’s a rainy day and you are stuck on the couch. That jar is devoured!
As a fellow peanut butter lover, WHY HAVEN’T I BEEN HERE YET?!? Dear God, everything looks/sounds wonderful. Thanks so much for sharing — I’ll need to head over to PB&Co. ASAP!!!!

Hey Christine!
Def check it out one day for a sandwich. It’s a guilty pleasure! They even sell the jars in the supermarket now.
