Once in a while the need to escape NYC beckons. Don’t get me wrong as I love my city but there is a lot more to see and do outside of the five boroughs. Plenty of towns up north just a train ride away of only an hour or two ride.

After spending a day trip up in Cold Spring NY wandering around, shopping, snacking, exploring, and sightseeing we checked this place out for a mid-afternoon lunch. It was called Hudson Hil’s.

Great service.
Delicious food.
Quality portions.
Bright country-style decor.
Breakfast served all day.
