There is nothing like a good sausagefest! So I proclaimed over and over while shoving loads of delicious meaty sausage into my mauf! Give me MOAR!!!
Not kidding, this place knows how to rock the sausage. So many different varieties. Along with a killer craft beer list and great prices Rosamunde Sausage Grill should be on any sausage lovers list to visit. Along with cheapie Yelp Drinks Week going on I was enjoying $3 craft pints all night, and others were downing rum & house cola cocktails. Woo-Hoo!
There is so much going on here for every day drinkage! All kinds of signage promoting some pretty awesome beer specials – $3 Yuengling pints all day every day, $1 Anchor Steam/Yeungling & 1/2 pints of Old Rasputin Monday-Friday 5-7pm, $5 shot & Tecate all day, flights, beer tastings, and more, more, MOAR!!! OMG!!!!! They have around 24 craft taps! This place is a destination just for the booze! Growlers too!
Add to this the ridonkulous specialty sausage selection and you might never want to leave. They offer up close to two dozen different types. There is even a vegan sausage for you deprived non-meat eaters (so sad). The fries here are pretty good too, along with some tasty sauces to dip them in – curry ketchup, wasabi mustard, garlic mayo and a few others! Good stuff. Some large flat screens around the place had all the games on last night, along with good music playing.
Just a short stroll down Bedford Ave to the L train to easily stumble home back to Manhattan. If they decide to open a spot on the Upper East Side where I live I will become a full fledged alcoholic! Oh, who am I kidding? I’m already almost there!
Can I become a “Meatoholic” ?

I have some sausage in the fridge and was just getting ready to cook a couple of jalapeno cheddar sausages to go with my eggs. Yum. Cities have such diverse foods and fun places to enjoy them… I am surprised you didn’t work in a little mayoral angle, so to speak! 🙂
Hey Clay!
Gotta love a good variety of tasty sausage! As for Anthony “Carlos Danger” Weiner I have already taken a few goofy jabs at him – it’s just too easy!
Sounds like a tasty treat. Almost makes me wish I were a fan of sausage. Well, that kind of sausage, anyway…. 😉
Hey Kitt!
Oh, I am sure you would like this sausage in your mouth too! 😉
We have a Rosamunde in SF as well! It’s deeeelicious!

Hey Jules!
I know as I spoke with the owners. What a great place. Delish sausages and great beer choices! So glad they came over to the better coast! 😉
Looks Fantastic with some great choices, summer is as good a time for a great sausage sandwich as winter too though I might trade out having a cold one on the latter. Great place to visit.
Hey Peggy!
We have many little gems like this popping up around the city now. Great beer and sausages at a good price! Plus, they are open year around!
Great beer and great sausages! It could almost be in Germany. They all look fabulous Phil and I can hear the sizzle of them cooking right now 🙂
Hey Guy!
I can almost smell them too, even though I am stuck here at work. Would love a beer and a brat right now.
Am just going to have to cook sausages for lunch now!

Hey Kate!
I wish I had a BBQ set up right in my office to grill them! I don’t think my boss would be too pleased.
Want. Sausage. Now. – those photos are delicious!
Hey Patricia!
Glad I made you hungry! I just might have to pop over there this weekend for a few myself!
These pics make me nostalgic for the Italian Fests in the north end of Boston. So much fun and you can smell the sausages cooking for miles around.
Hey Karen!
I love those festivals. That aroma is intoxicating and always reminds me of summer.
Phil! This place looks AWESOME! Whenever I get back to NY this place is a must. The only place that comes close to this here in LA is a place called Pinks. Ever heard of it?
Hello Dean!
It is another one of the great places that have opened up in Brooklyn. Worth a visit!
Yes, I have been at Pinks and enjoyed a few hot dogs there! Long lines each time but worth the wait.
A. I so thought this was going to be about the mayoral race, and B. “…rock the sausage…”, isn’t that a rock anthem?
Hello UP!
Actually, you read my mind as I just put up a post today on that subject! It’s all about the sausage!
You always find the best places in Williamsburg and then I just get sad that I don’t live there anymore. 🙁
Going to browse apartments on craigslist now…
Hey Jill!
Hey, it’s only a train ride away from the burbs! Get over here and drink and eat!
Just beware the creepers on Craigslist. I hear Carlos Danger lurks over there. 🙂
My husband would approve! The former vegan here says “meh”. I do like a good beer brat, but prefer the Boca ones!
Hey Sarah!
Then send your husband over to eat for both of you! What is a vegan? That word is not in my vocabulary! 🙂
I love that they have so many types. I would love to have a place like that here. It looks great!
Hey Ann!
Way too many types to choose from! Send them an email to open shop in WV!
