Being busy and on the go can really put a dent into proper eating habits. With a full work schedule and multiple responsibilities there just does not seem to be enough time to cook proper healthy nutritious meals, especially breakfast, which is the most important meal of the day. Being that I normally schedule my daily training session in the morning before work there is just no time to hit the kitchen to prepare a meal. That is where supplementation comes in. My normal routine now includes an EAS protein shake, fruit, and vitamin pack as soon as I get to my desk at the office.
What I enjoy about ready to drink EAS shakes are the multiple flavors offered so I can mix it up a bit every day. Good old vanilla, strawberry cream, chocolate fudge, cookies and cream. I make sure to pick up one from the vitamin store on the way to the subway, or when they are on sale I stock up and keep a supply in the office fridge. Each shake costs anywhere from $3-$4 depending on where you buy them. It’s still cheaper than hitting the deli for an egg sandwich and coffee, but can get a bit pricey as it adds up. I guess that is the cost for consuming quality protein and vitamin sources as part of a lifestyle. Just wish I could afford more as EAS offers a full line of bodybuilding and sports nutrition products that I would like to try. Protein powders, creatine, vitamins, protein bars and more that are designed for different physique and performance goals – weight gain, fat burning, muscle building, stamina, endurance, etc.
I have been using their products on and off for quite some time now and highly recommend EAS products. Along with healthy eating habits and a proper diet they make it easy to help a person achieve their training and nutrition goals.
